Windows 7

I have an opinion on alot of things, and many of them could very well be incorrect, but windows is something I knew I was right about. A bit back a friend brought me his PC to repair it; he said he wanted mac os x installed because he kept getting viruses. I looked into it and found he didn't have compatible hardware so i just installed XP on it again (Vista is megashit), however within a couple of hours of a fresh install Kasperspy was already telling me it had caught a virus.

This is the kind of problem that makes me hate windows. Windows also has an "unpleasent" feel about it. It doesn't feel very well designed, vista wasn't much better than XP in that regard although they had polished over the ugly surface of XP. I was just happy that I had Mac os x installed and was free from this hellhole called windows.

Recently however, I decided to get 7 after reading many good reviews about it. As I sit here typing on this alien OS that feel totally different to my usual experience of Windows I have come to the conclusion they managed to get at least some things right.

The future looks brighter for  Micro$soft.

    Sounds cool, I'll look into it. Personally, I like XP, warts and all, just because it's simple and straightforward.

    I have Vista. It's not TOO bad. I haven't had a blue screen in two years.

    when 7 camed out I immidiately switched to it becouse I couldn't stand vista, now everything is perfectly normal just the way I like. Oh, and I don't know why mac users always as an argument use a windows blue screen, to be honest I havent seen a blue screen on a computer for a year or so! Only on pictures tho.

    Thank you everyone for your interest, it's very encouraging :-). Kisielek, in the last month I've seen loads of BSOD's, mainly on XP because I couldn't stand Vista. My only worry atm is getting a virus, since I refuse to install anti virus software.

    Windows 7 fixed every single problem that I was experiencing on my pc including game issue. So I'm happy because of my upgrade.

    I have a windows XP computer, a windows 7 computer and a mac book pro. People dog on macs because of the whole fanboy/hipster thing. Yes they cost a bunch of money, but I haven't regretted one second.
